About Us

The Fekete István Hunting Association was established in 1967. Our territory is about 6000 hectare large and is located among the following villages and towns: Bakonygyepes, Devecser, Pusztamiske, Nyirád, Szőc, Padragkút and Ajka.

Our territory is inhabited by various species such as red deer, wild boar, roe deer and fallow deer.

The territory consists of hills, forests and agricultural fields. Around 30% of the total territory is covered with forests.

Water supply is relatively great due to the numerous streams and lakes in the area. On average 250 wild boars, 80 deers, 100 roe deers, 50-100 smaller species (mainly rabbits and pheasants) and around 100 mallards are hunted per year. Hunting for pigeons is possible as well, however it occurs rarely.

There are two professional hunters in our area, and they are happy to help and to make our hunters and guests satisfied. The majority of our territory can be hunted thanks to the numerous freshly built and comfortable high-stands.

Most of our members are hunters from the local area, however we have members from other parts of the country as well. There are numerous events which can be attended such as the agriculture exposition in Pápa, shooting competitions among hunting associations, or the ball of hunters which has become more or less tradition now.

Our association has a hunting lodge as well. It is well equipped and easily accessible due to its favorable location, therefore we can strongly recommend not just for our hunter-guests (see photos in a separate menu).

The location of the territory makes it possible to combine hunting with cultural programs (Tapolca, Keszthely, Veszprém, Sümeg) or to enjoy the Lake Balaton and the local spas (Pápa, Sárvár, Hévíz).
